The "Art and Education" workshops conducted within L'Art Rue have been supported by the European Union from March 2018 to January 2021 in the framework of the "Deconstructing Violence through Art" programme.
This musical awakening workshop for children led by Amina Sanhaji aims to transmit know-how and listening skills. Various activities around music are offered to the youngest: singing, listening, discovery of sound-creating objects, body expression, musical games, etc.
>> This workshop gave rise to a festive time of restitution in May-June with a children's choir. It was on Saturday 28 May 2022 at L'Art Rue.
Amina Sanhaji has already led a workshop of this type during the summer of 2020 for the children at L'Art Rue.
With a view to adapting the learning process, young people are invited to reproduce, accompany, invent and dance. This includes discovering and exploring their voice by becoming aware of their breathing & surrounding, using small instruments to get acquainted with the beat and rhythm, and practicing listening together to oneself and to the other in a very playful collective work which will lead at the end of the year to the creation of a small piece for ensemble.
