"I want to talk to you about humanity" is the project of a monodrama, the story of a young woman who tells us about her exile since her childhood. It is an intimate story that draws on two historical events in Tunisia: the history of Spanish refugees at the end of the 1930s and the migration issue of today. Our journey through Tunis, Bizerte, Kasserine, Kerkenah and Zarzis has gradually led to an encounter with a territory, its traces, its memory, its faces and its voices. Steps emerge in resonance: ours, artists, those of the people we met, the history of the places, the intellectual and artistic construction of an idea, steps that reveal to us that the narratives of migrations and exiles are intimately linked to the territories. This sensitive map reflects the feeling of a geographical journey that turns into a journey of emotions, experiences, colours and perceptions, the first drafts of a monodrama that tells the story of yesterday and today, of men and women, between elsewhere and Tunisia.

Lobna Noomene is an actress and singer while Aïcha Ayoub is a director. While Lobna Noomene uses her voice and singing to resurrect the oral memory of Tunisia in perdition and tells it in resonance with rhythms open to world music, Aïcha Ayoub's projects question the traces of history in the territories of the present. Their approaches are part of an aesthetic where the poetry of the word and the body vibrate with the narratives of the world, where the intimate experience meets History.
