This work, co-created with eight children, tells the story of a video game that interferes in the lives of a group of children squatting in an abandoned barracks in the Medina of Tunis. "Arachné" is the culmination of an artistic residency led by actress and screenwriter Nejma Zeghidi with a group of eight children from December 2019 to October 2020.
This production seeks to open a window into the inner world of children. Outside the framework of their roles within the family or at school: who really are these individuals with their fears, their solitude, their mistakes and their friendships? To what extent does their world remain an unknown?
