On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2020, at 16:00 come discover "Arachné", a play by Nejma Zeghidi, at the el Attarine barracks (Medina of Tunis). This work, co-created with eight children, tells the story of a video game that interferes in the lives of a group of children squatting in an abandoned barracks in the Medina of Tunis. "Arachné" is the culmination of an artistic residency led by actress and screenwriter Nejma Zeghidi with a group of eight children from December 2019 to October 2020.
This production seeks to open a window into the inner world of children. Outside the framework of their roles within the family or at school: who really are these individuals with their fears, their solitude, their mistakes and their friendships? To what extent does their world remain an unknown?
To be discovered on October 24 and 25, 2020.
