What is the relationship between image and sound? How can love breed so much hate? In Tunisia, violence against the LGBTQIA+ community is commonly accepted by society. Love and Violence is the dual story of five victims of sexuality-related violence told through sound with the images of four couples’ love stories.
> About Amel Guellaty
Amel Guellaty is a Tunisian director and photographer. She turned to cinema after studying law at the Sorbonne. In 2017, her first short film Black Mamba was critically acclaimed in many international film festivals. She is currently developing her first feature film Tunis-Djerba.
