Performance ‘Rue El Behja’ by Beity at L’Art Rue

L'Art Rue will host the artistic performance Rue El Behja by the association Beity on January 20, 21 and 22 2023 at 6 PM.
Participatory, inclusive, putting women at the heart of the feminist project BEYTI, this play ‘Rue El Behja’ is conceived through the experience, diversity and uniqueness of the experiences of the women who participated in the project.
An innovative process of writing, dramaturgy and theatrical expression set up by Lassaad Ben Abdallah to accompany the protagonists. The approach is based on the abolition of borders between “beneficiaries” and “team”, “foreigners” and “nationals”, “activists and creators”…
The aim is to make art a means of liberation of women’s speech and of struggles against all forms of violence and discrimination against them. This work is a continuation of the projects ‘Mémoires d'elles’ in 2015 and ‘De fil en aiguille à Mosmar El Kassaa’ in 2019.
